Shady's Back.

Here I am , back with something juicy and funny. But first, reason why I don't update as much ;

1. Sister spending long hours on the computer. Resulting in reason number 2.
2. Locked study room door.

Off to the main subject. Last week as I was glancing through the newspaper I stumbled upon this ;

Yes. It is an advertisement on the upcoming Cheer 2009. (thats not the funny bit)

I decided to go in for a closer look.....

Nothing weird and disturbing yet.

Oddly enough I went in for a closer look. ( I would probably be classified as a freak by now, having that piece of newspaper so close to my face. ) But it was worth it for a good laugh , look what I realized. Have a close look at the girl on the left , one with her leg up to her head. Wait for it .... wait for it ....

Sorry to everyone. As many of you may know , lately I have been really busy and therefore unable to update my blog. Although this many not disappoint many , still I apologize. Hopefully one of these days I would take the time to update. Cheers...

Two days of Epic-ness.

28th March 2009

Some may know that on the 27th of March i slept over at Ming Yues place. This is because on the following day the 28th , he and I will be participating in a cooking competition called "Power Chef" hosted by KDU college. All participants had to be there at 7:30am , this was the reason why I slept over at his place. We arrived at the college on time and decided to attract some girls as we were the most good looking guys there. Our Nintendo DS-ses were out and there we were battling out for the title "POKEMON MASTER". Fast forward to the starting of the competition....... 80 over teams were cramped into the main hall of KDU college and every single team (including us) began setting up our table decorations. Ming Yue and I really didn't put much taught in the table decorations , so we just grabbed a few things we could find in our houses. Two stuffed animals , a FAKE pepper shaker , FAKE plant , and finally a candle ; yea thats what we had while other teams decorated their table with wine glasses , REAL bottles of sparkling fruit juice , 12cm long candles and so many more. Oddly enough 3 points are given for good table decoration ( and i taught this competition was about cooking ). Lets fast forward it more shall we , ( >> x16 )...... First task was making "Popia" and boy did we understand MAKING POPIA. Whats the best way to enjoy popia you ask??? Why , ill tell you the best way to enjoy popia ; being served with a popia the size of a full grown rabbit is how you enjoy popia to the max. Honestly from then on the tension was already growing in my bowels , but Ming Yue as always says the following ," do not worry , good looking people always get extra points ". Onward to the second task, decorating a bare piece of cake it was. I don't have to elaborate much on this as pictures will do all the elaboration. Fast forward again , ( >>x46 ). "Titanic Monkeys" said the man with terrible English and we were off to the second round of the competition which will take place this coming Saturday , April 4th 2009.

That evening was the night I celebrated my 17th birthday. A number of friends were invited and a number of them had to cancel last minute , therefore only 9 of them made it to the party of the century. Instead of having my birthday dinner at a fancy restaurant like every other year , this year I decided to have it at a YONG TAU FU shop located at Dataran Sunway , Kota Damansara. We stuffed ourselves with enough food to kill a man. After dinner , we headed back to my place to chill and begin our " Red Faction 2 " tournament ( PS2 first person shooter game ). Abigail was the only girl brave enough to pick up the controller and join the boys in this epic game of violence. Others were in the living room enjoying the comfort of the massage chair. Soon it was the time to cut the cake ; it was a giant brownie instead of a cake and I TELL YOU eating that with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is heavenly. More violence on the PS2 after that , while the others rested in my room. The party of the year officially ended at 2:00am+ when Matt finally decided to lay down the PS2 controller and bring everyone home. Both Ming Yue and Khai Weng slept over that night. All 3 of us were to exhausted and tired to engage in some Ragnarok DS. You may think this is the end of the post , THINK AGAIN.. !!

Its official , im 17 and old. Any moment now ill start peeing in my pants. 10:45am is the time I woke up that day , waking up to see Ming Yue sitting on me is always something delightful ( according to him ). Reason I woke up that early was because Khai Weng and Ming Yue will be leaving around 11:30am , and I have plans with Shaun that day. Fast forward 2 hours ..... Shaun came over and presented me with my present ( all presents and pictures of presents will be uploaded on the next post ) which was a green "hoodie" and I am loving it. We decided to head to 1 Utama to catch a movie and also have lunch. The movie "Knowing" was what we watched and truthfully .... NEVER EVER FREAKING WATCH THAT MOVIE , freaking waste of money and time. I think Nicholas Cage accepts every movie offer that comes his way , that could also be the reason why I see his face up on many of the billboard movie advertisements. I had a awesome time at 1 Utama chilling with Shaun after not seeing him for so long. We decided to head home after the CRAPPY movie. Shocked I was to see my relatives over at my place to celebrate the birthday of my aunt and myself. Chicken rice was what we ate , ALOT of chicken rice. After dinner , guess what ??? Time to cut another cake , weeeeeee.... !! this time it was carrot cake. Notice how this final paragraph is a whole lot shorter compared to the ones above? this is because of the long hours am spending to type all this out. Here are the pictures from last night ;

Here I can finally end my blog post , Thank You to everyone who has been a part of my birthday celebration. Special thanks to my parents for everything they did. Wish me luck for the 2nd round of the upcoming cooking competition. Ciao , stay young.

Merely days away.

Its only a few days away from my 17th birthday. How I cant wait for the weekend ; to celebrate my birthday with friends and relatives. Also how I wish my two brothers were here to celebrate with me , one in Australia (Nicholas Cheong) and another who is very busy with work (Shaun). I end this post by saying , IM FREAKISHLY OLD !

Happy 17th Bithday dear.

Happy Birthday to Wong Jie Cheng as she is celebrating her 17th Birthday . Thank you to God for giving me the chance to go out with her on her special day. We ended up watching "Watchmen" at Cineleisure because the earliest show for "Marley and Me" was already sold out. A tip to everyone out there reading this blog , NEVER! take your girlfriend out to watch "Watchmen" trust me and do not ask any questions why. After the movie we just walked along "The Street" leading to The Curve and chatted about stuffs. She had to leave at 5pm as her mom was waiting to pick her at the "BOMBA" exit of the curve. Knowing that it was 5pm+ and I have not had my lunch , I walked to IKEA to enjoy 15 balls of delight. Not long after I bumped into Abigail , Dillon , Crystal and Wei Qing while waiting at the exit of The Curve. Thats all I have to say for this post , till next time CIAO =)

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY DEAR.

Success and more SUCCESS !!

Just got back from camp yesterday , Leo Camp to be exact. Turns out it was a huge success and everyone had a good time. Although, food was limited stomach ache problems did not get in the way. Games and activities ensured fun was always the option. Hopefully the following camps would also be a success or even better compared to this one.

Before walking to school to attend the camp ; Ming Yue , Crystal , Abigail and I went to One Utama to have lunch and also get some resources for the camp. We had lunch at Dave's. As we know Dave's offers 50% off all pastas on week days but instead we ordered a 1/2 meter pizza which we nearly finished (no thanks to Crystal who only ate 1 piece). AND HERE came dessert ;

it was tiramisu cake drenched with thick caramel.

After lunch I had a quest which needed to be accomplished , to get a birthday present for 'MA GURLFREN' as she is turning 17 on the 18th of March which is today. Searching high and low I finally decided to get this one ;

Nothing much can be explained about the ring , but i would like to give special thanks to Denise finding out her ring size for me , Ming Yue , Crystal and Abigail for helping me choose the right one and finally my GOR-GOR in Australia for letting me know where I can get a ring at a reasonable price.
